This policy explains what personal data the website victorws.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the website only, not to the separate websites of World Steel Group.

1. Who is responsible

The website is the personal professional site of Victor Dang, Diretor Comercial Global of World Steel Group. It is operated by [...], [...].

2. Data we collect

When you send a form

The quote request, consultation booking and contact forms ask for the details needed to answer you:

your name, email address and, if you give them, phone number, company and country;
information about your project or question: type of project, timeline, budget range, message and the files you attach;
for a consultation: the topic, the channel (video, phone or messaging app), the time you choose and your time zone;
your agreement to be contacted (the consent box).

With each form we also store: the language of the page, the page you came from, campaign tags of the link (for example utm_source), your IP address with the last part removed, and the browser name sent by your device.

Protection against spam

To tell people from automated programs, the form script counts how many keys were pressed and how often the mouse or screen was used, and solves a small calculation in your browser. Only these numbers are sent, never what you typed. Limits per connection are counted with irreversible codes (hashes), not with your IP address or email in clear text.

When you only browse

The server keeps technical logs (time, address of the page, error messages) to keep the site running and secure. Without your consent no analytics or advertising tools are used.

3. Why we use your data

to answer your request, prepare a quotation or hold the consultation you booked: steps you asked for before a possible contract;
to contact you about your request, on the basis of the consent you give in the form;
to keep the website secure and free of spam: our legitimate interest;
to understand how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 6).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions about you.

4. Who receives your data

Victor Dang and, when your project needs it, colleagues of World Steel Group who prepare the technical and commercial offer;
the hosting company of the website and the email service that delivers the messages;
a customer-relationship (CRM) tool, if one is connected;
if enabled, the anti-robot check provider (Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha), only when a submission needs this extra check;
Google (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies.

These services may process data outside your country, including in Vietnam and the United States. We use them only for the purposes above.

5. How long we keep it

enquiries and their files: [...] months after the last exchange, unless a contract requires longer;
messages recognised as spam: deleted automatically after 90 days;
technical logs: up to 90 days.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The website works without cookies. It stores the following only when needed:

Your cookie choice (ws_consent, in your browser's storage, 12 months), so the banner is not shown again.
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years), only if analytics is switched on for the site and you accept it. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Administration: a session cookie used only by the site owner when logged in.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to limit or object to its use, to receive a copy, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to dang.victor@worldsteelgroup.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country (for example, in Vietnam, under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP; in the European Union, under the GDPR).

8. Security

The site uses HTTPS. Attached files are stored outside the public part of the server and can only be opened by the site owner after logging in. Access to the administration is protected by a password and limits on login attempts.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date of the latest version is shown below.
